This is the metered version of the Envoy S gateway and may require the help of an electrician or trained solar professional for installation. This model DOES NOT come with an AC power cord and must be wired into the electrical distribution panel of your Enphase solar system.
The Enphase Envoy S gateway is an integral component of the Enphase Home Energy Solution. It bridges the communication between Enphase microinverters, located on the rooftop, with the Enphase Enlighten™ monitoring software, located in the cloud. The Envoy™ gateway and microinverters communicate via standard AC powerlines in the home. The Envoy™ gateway and Enlighten™ monitoring software communicate via cellular or wireless internet connection. The Envoy™ S gateway can control grid management functions and monitor PV production.
The Envoy™ S gateway is compatible with M series and S series microinverters and can replace Envoy R and older Envoy devices. This metered model kit includes all components necessary to monitor your Enphase system production, including current transformer (CT) for revenue grade production data monitoring. Power usage can also be monitored with this device when adding optional consumption monitoring CT clamps, sold separately.
